Wakestock is the world’s premiere wakeboarding event, part of the WWA World Series of Wakeboarding, featuring the planet’s best wakeboarders and wakeskaters. The world's largest, longest standing and original annual wakeboarding, action sports & music festival, Wakestock pioneered the genre with it's ground-breaking establishment in 1998 in Bala, Muskoka, Canada! Wakestock is one of five events, including the WWA World Championships, that comprise the 2011 WWA World Series of Wakeboarding, the world’s richest pro tour. The defending Wakestock Wakeboard Pro Champion is Aaron Rathy. The defending Wakestock Wakeskate Pro Champion is Brian Grubb. Wakestock also features Canada’s largest amateur wakeboarding and wakeskating contest.

Wakestock is one Canada's biggest music summer festivals. Past Wakestock music artists include the Deftones, Social Distortion, Public Enemy, RZA and GZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, Alexisonfire, De La Soul, Metric, Goldfinger, Hot Water Music, Lupe Fiasco, Dead Kennedys, Reel Big Fish, Andrew WK, U.S.S, and Classified among dozens of other bands.
