Top Wakeboarders and Wakeskaters Confirmed For Wakestock

The world’s best wakeboarders and wakeskaters will be in attendance for the tenth anniversary of Wakestock. Regarded as the best event of the year by the sport’s top athletes, Wakestock will have its deepest field ever. All of last year’s champions are returning to defend their titles and Wakestock belts. Last year’s Malibu Expression Session Champ Phillip Soven is on fire this year, winning nearly every contest he’s entered. The two-time Billabong Railslide champion Keith Lidberg is back again and hungrier than ever. Reed Hansen took the title in last year’s Billabong Pro Wakeskate contest and has been dominating contests all year. And in the Oakley Pool, both Danny Harf, last year’s wakeboard best trick winner, and Aaron Rathy, last year’s wakeskate best trick winner, are coming back to take another shot at the new, expanded Oakley Pool.

All of the top Canadians such as Rusty Malinoski, Chad Sharpe, Kevin Henshaw, James Balzer, Sunni-Anne Ball, Anthony Hollick and Olivier and Raphael Derome have confirmed their attendance. This is the strongest Canadian field ever represented at Wakestock so be sure to cheer on the hometown favourites.

Also making a rare contest appearance are three of the sport’s legends, Parks Bonifay, Randy Harris and Shaun Murray. All three riders are in the middle of huge comebacks this year and have made Wakestock a priority on their calendars.
